Update following new measures 13 November
The Hang On Run is definitely taking place! The event permit was obtained from the Municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The following will apply this weekend:
– Athletes are welcome, of which 18+ only via QR code check.
– Spectators not allowed.
– Exceptions are parents of youth members up to and including 17 years, who must be present as a supervisor if they have a QR code.
– Keep 1,5 m away as much as possible outside the run.
– Within the restaurants of RCN, QR code is mandatory!
We hope you respect these restrictions and that we can all enjoy our sport on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

Corona pass at the Hang-On Run 2021.
For participants (18+) and public (13+) of the Hang On Run 2021, a corona pass is required. This is also the case for public on the terrain (start & finish) and catering.
A corona pass can be obtained after being tested, vaccinated or recovered from corona.
The Hang-On Run Foundation is fully committed to making the run possible in November. These rules are mandated and coupled to our event license . Thus, we ask participants and public understanding and cooperation for this measure.
We are organizing 2 different events this weekend: the run on Saturday and the run on Sunday. There are different competitions and other participants on both days. So this is not a multi-day event.
If the situation around Covid-19 deteriorates in the Netherlands, it may be that the run cannot take place due to new measures. If this is the case, due to already paid costs no money will be refunded.
For the time being, it is expected that all Covid-19 measures will be phased out in November. This allows the run to continue. Is it possible that new measures will be announced by then? We will keep you informed about this, but also ask for your understanding in this uncertain time. For more information about Covid-19 in general and specifically for sports, see Government – General.
